NQCP Friday Life in Quantum - David E. Gloriam

Professor David E. Gloriam will give a talk with the title: Data-driven drug-receptor discovery

Abstract: Over one-third of approved drugs act G protein-coupled receptors (GPCRs) (1). This important drug target family has an online field hub, GPCRdb (2) which has become an indispensable infrastructure for tens of thousands of researchers. In addition to reference data, this web resource provides highly accessible tools for data analysis and data-driven experiment design. The talk will also give examples of how the development of data- and ML-driven drug design methods to discover small molecule and peptide lead ligands.
