Nanofabrication
The Team
The Nanofabrication engineering team at NQCP serves as the central point of contact for all device fabrication needs. Our team collaborates closely with design and characterization groups to thoroughly understand their requirements. We then develop a detailed process flow and carry out the device fabrication with precision and expertise.
We leverage state-of-the-art facilities, utilizing the cleanrooms at DTU Nanolab and the University of Copenhagen. Our comprehensive approach ensures seamless integration from design to final product, meeting the exact specifications and needs of our partners.
Our Focus
Our mission is to establish a range of nanofabrication protocols essential for fabricating various types of qubits. This effort is critical for advancing quantum computing technologies, which rely on the precise and reliable creation of qubits.
One of our key focus areas is the meticulous measurement and control of process variabilities that can occur during cleanroom processing. Cleanroom environments are essential for minimizing contamination, but even within these controlled settings, subtle variations can impact the performance of the fabricated devices. We implement rigorous monitoring and adjustment procedures to identify and mitigate these variabilities.
Our commitment to process stability and reliability not only enhances the quality of our current projects but also contributes to the broader field of nanofabrication by setting high standards and best practices. This, in turn, supports the development of more advanced and dependable quantum computing systems.
